The meeting was held on the claims of 125 students of Independent Azerbaijan University (IAU) in Binagadi court, the Students’ rights defender Intigam Aliyev told the APA. He said that the representative of State Commission for Students’ Admission Narmina Bayramova, the representative of IAU Zahir Samedov and the lawyer of the students made speech in the meeting. The representative of Education Ministry did not come to the meeting. According to Aliyev’s words, the representative of the university said that the students’ demand is just. Judge Ahmed Sariyev set the next trial on January 15 and the court will pass its decision.
It should be noted that, the students demanded to remove them to other universities or to compensate. /APA/
