Armed gang attacks one more Azerbaijani family in Georgia – <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

APA’s Georgian bureau reports that 5 armed persons attacked Farman Sharifov’s house in Beyler village of Marneuli region on November 6 at 02.00. APA’s correspondent reports from the site that 5 gunmen attacked the house when Farman Sharifov’s family of 8 was going to sleep.

His son Elyar Sharifov met the gunmen while returning home, they beat him by the butt of a submachine gun. Then they brought Elyar to the house and gathered the family members in a room. But Farman Sharifov’s wife Gulanaz Sharifova jumped out of the window and ran for the neighbors. The bandits looked for her, but didn’t find. Gulanaz Sharifova called the neighbors to help and the gunmen escaped. All residents of the village gathered at the Farman Sharifov’s house after 15 minutes. The gunmen beat Farman Sharifov, his wife Gulanaz, daughter Elnara and daughter-in-law Lutfa and took away their jewelries.
Injured Gulanaz Sharifova told APA that the bandits were tall, spoke in Russian and Georgian languages, all of them had submachine guns and wore masks.
Marneuli Regional Police and the other agencies arrived in Beyler village to carry out investigation. Criminal case has been launched into the fact, investigation is underway.
Member of the Georgian Parliament Azer Suleymanov told APA that he would inform about the recent crimes committed in Marneuli, Bolnisi and Dmanisi, where Azerbaijanis live, at the parliament’s meeting and demand to find criminals. According to him, 12 such crimes were committed in the above-mentioned regions in the last two months.
