Four quakes hit Azerbaijan within a day

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. Several quakes hit Ismayilli on October 7. Republican Center of Seismic Service of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told APA that the quake was recorded on the 17 km in the south-east from Ismailli at 17:42. The quake was not felt.

The quake recorded on the 20 km in the south-east from Ismailli wasnâ€™t felt, either.

These underground seismic shocks of the quake occurred on the 17 km in the south-east from Ismailli at 16:42 was felt in Shamakhi, Pirgulu and Ismailli and the 5-magnitude quake occurred in Aghsu was felt in Baku, Sumgayit and Khirdalan in the power of 4 and 2 magnitudes.

No casualties were reported.

The quake occurred in the Azerbaijani part of the Caspian Sea. The quake recorded on the 10 km from Nardaran in the Caspian Sea at 11:29 was not felt.
