Baku. Etibar Mammadov – APA. A group of religious men held a protest action in front of the Ministry of Education. APA reports that the protestors chanted slogans demanding to remove the prohibition against “hijab†(turban)
Protestors clashed with the police involved in the site to prevent the action. Several police and protestors were injured. They were hospitalized.
The protest action was prevented, several protestors were detained.
Police Department #16 of Narimanov District Police Office told APA that a group of people attempted to hold a protest action illegally out side the Ministry of Education. Several people were detained while violating public rules.
