Video on Azerbaijani MP Gular Ahmadova posted on Internet

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. Elshad Abdullayev, the rector of the closed Azerbaijan International University who is living in France (Strasbourg) has spread a video on Azerbaijani MP Gular Ahmadova and Sevinj Telman Babayeva, the director of the Baku City Library after M.A.Sabir. APA reports that the video shows the MP, former rector and Babayeva speaking about Abdullayevâ€™s membership to the parliament by means of a bribe. Names of the other Azerbaijani officials were also reminded in the dialogue. The date and place where the video was shot is unknown. Elshad Abdullayev didnâ€™t elaborate the reason of posting the video.

Adbullayev told the press a week ago, that he had such a video and he was going to post it on the Internet. He posted the video on YouTube yesterday.

MP GUlar Ahmadova has spoke to APA on the video: â€œElshad Abdullayev wants to get a status of political migrant in France. He was aware of the problematic facts I have about his university. He was aware of majority of materials. That is why; his decision was not a surprise for me. His claims are baseless and the video is a montage. Everybody in this country knows about Abullayevâ€™s abominations.â€

In response to the question whether she will watch this video or not and which parts of the film were underwent montage Ahmadova said: â€œI couldnâ€™t manage to watch this video normally, I was nervous. Yesterday, my assistant told me that â€œAzpolitikaâ€ website also confirms that the video underwent a montage. To tell the truth, I havenâ€™t watched the video till the end. I have been collecting the facts we haveâ€.

Deputy didnâ€™t give a concrete answer about the date of the video: â€œI can have 40-50 video and photo sessions within a month. This video seems to be shot many years ago. I havenâ€™t been investigated these issues yet. I will answer all questions only after the investigations. I have never avoided form any questionâ€.

Ahmadova said that she had already appealed to the Prosecutorâ€™s Office and also submitted the materials concerning Abdullayev.
