Head of Azerbaijani Diaspora said that Russian law-enforcement bodies organized assassination against him

Islam Huseynov, the chairman of Ulyanovsk regional sector of All-Russia Azerbaijan Congress accused of Ulyanovsk department of Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation according to the events. Islam Husyenov told APAâ€™s Moscow bureau that the robbers, who were released by Investigative Committee, committed the assassination: â€œRobbers, who were released by Ulyanovsk Investigative Committee, shot me. Two unknown persons have arrived in my office today. My bodyguard Igor said me that two persons wanted to meet with me. I saw that one of them has a weapon in his hand. We started fighting with them and they shot me. I fell onto the ground. I was shot on my head, but Igor on his heart. I wanted pursing them but I couldnâ€™t. Igor was decent and honest man. We have been working together for 8 years. He was as my brother. I owe him my life. I will always help his familyâ€
Islam Huseynov said that the patron of all criminals in Ulyanovsk city is the Investigation Committee:â€ I have appealed to the law enforcement agencies on the issue several times. The ones who struggle against corruption in this city are the enemies of the investigation committee. So, I became one of their victims. Their leaders are the head of the Investigation Committee Yevdokymov, investigator Vinagradov, Polzunov and the head of the Investigation Committee for special works Kireyev. I donâ€™t afraid of revealing these facts. They wanted to shut my mouth as I appealed to the Federal Investigation Service on the fact. . They wanted revenge. Thatâ€™s why ordered their people to kill me I was receiving telephone calls. They were threatening me. They aware of my family and knew that they would also sufferâ€.
Islam Huseynov told APA that he is filling well now and he is in his office:â€ now the executives of the law enforcement bodies are in my office now.
The general secretary of All-Russia congress Mikael Hussein told APA that the congress has appealed the law enforcement bodies for the investigation of the criminal act committed against Islam Huseynov. Michael Huseynov said that he had a phone call with Islam Huseynov and said that there is no danger for his life now.
Islam Huseynov has been leading the All-Russia Azerbaijan Congress since 2005.
