APA reports quoting the Georgian media that 3 persons were killed and 5 were wounded as a result of operational actions carried out by the special units of Ministry of Internal Affairs. MIF said that the other 6 persons were encircled and the operation for their neutralizations is being continued.
The captivated persons were liberated. Their definite number isn’t announced.
The diversion group trespassed from Republic of Dagistan to Georgia and captivated 10 local residents on August 28-29. The group led by Minister of Internal Affairs Bacho Akhalayan of law enforcement bodies of Georgia started special operation on liberation of captivated persons and neutralization of diversion group from August 29 in the morning.
