Azerbaijani President participates in the opening ceremony of several objects in Goranboy

The Head of State visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the downtown and laid flowers at the monument.

ThePresident of was informed on reconstruction and renovation work carried out around the monument.

The Head of State laid flowers at the monument to Khojaly genocide victims.

Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of the State Committee for Work with Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov informed the President on the residential buildings. All necessary conditions have been created in the block.

President Ilham Aliyev saw IDP Gadim Sadigov`s apartment.

President got acquainted with the Khojaly city school number 1 built here. The school has a photo gallery on the Khojaly tragedy as well as photographs reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s care and attention to the development of culture, and First Lady and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva`s educational projects.
President Ilham Aliyev watched performances by the IDPs from Khojaly in the hall of the school.

Then, the Head of State met with the residents.

Then The President inaugurated the Chess School in Goranboy.

The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility and then toured it.

The President was informed construction of the Chess School started in early 2011 and ended at the end of the year. The facility covers a total area of 300 square meters.

The two-storey building of the Chess School was provided with all necessary equipment. A modern lighting system was installed around the school.

The Head of State viewed photo stands reflecting care and attention of President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva to development of education.
The Azerbaijani President praised the work done here.

Ilahm Aliyev also opened the Goranboy Culture House after its reconstruction.

The Head of State was informed that the reconstruction work started in January, 2011.

A bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev had been installed in the foyer of the building.

The President viewed photo stands reflecting care and attention of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to development of culture and art.

President Ilham Aliyev also viewed a 400-seat hall of the facility.

The Azerbaijani President wished successes to employees of the Goranboy Culture House.
The President and the Culture House`s employees posed for photographs.

President Ilham Aliyev also inaugurated the administrative building for the Yeni Azerbaijan Party`s (YAP) Goranboy regional branch.

The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the building.

Construction here started in November 2010. The building holds 400 sq. meters of floor space.
There is a portrait of national leader Heydar Aliyev outside of the building and his bust on the second floor.

The photo gallery around the bust depicts participation of national leader and YAP chairman, President Ilham Aliyev in the party`s congresses. The building consists of nine rooms and a conference hall.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the work done here and gave respective recommendations and instructions.
