APA reports quoting the ministry’s website that 750 sq m area of the 1300 sq m roof of the five-storey building and the ceiling in five flats on the 5th floor burnt.
18 residents, including 6 children and 1 bed patient were evacuated by firefighters and rescuers.
The rest part of the building was protected from fire. The fire was completely extinguished at 05.20.
