Azerbaijani teenager chokes off classmate in Krasnoyarsk

Baku. Azer Mustafayev â€“ APA. The murder of Russian girl by the Azerbaijani boy caused the national riots in Krasnoyarsk. APA reports quoting Russian press that the murder of 16-year-old Alena Goncharova by her class mate Sabir Mammadov in Maliy Imish village of Krasnoyarsk provinceâ€™s Ujur region caused resonance. Consequently the local residents held a meeting and demanded the expulsion of Azerbaijani families from the village.

According to the law-enforcement, the incident was recorded on December 29, 2011. The girl, who left the disco, was fraudulently brought by Sabir Mammadov to his house. Mammadov choked off the girl and has kept her in the kitchen for several days. The girlâ€™s body was found in the backhouse of the abandoned house on January 4. Mammadov said that the reason of the crime is his love to the girl. The investigation is underway.

Representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora living in the village offered condolences to the relatives of the deceased, blamed Mammadov and said that he would be punished.
