Materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office regarding the legal and financial irregularities revealed in the activity of 28 municipalities, criminal cases were launched on 15 of them, APA reports quoting the Justice Ministry’s website that it was said at the board meeting of the ministry. The annual report prepared on the administrative control on the activity of municipalities was also discussed at the meeting. It was noted that about 32 000 municipal acts were checked in the administrative manner, 1600 of them were changed or abolished basing on the ministry’s proposals. Approximately 4300 ha area illegally allocated by the municipalities was returned.
Instructions were given to strengthen the administrative control on the activity of municipalities, use broadly the capabilities of the regional branches.
