Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. The pardon decree signed by Azerbaijani President on December 26, was executed in the Correctional Facility №6. APA reports that Deputy Chief of the Penitentiary Service Huseyn Alikhanov participated in the process. Alikhanov said that about 50 pardon decrees have been singed up to now. According to him, these orders concerned 5314 people.
7 prisoners were released from the Correctional Facility №6. Yalchin Hasanov, son of former Azizbayov district Prosecutor Rashid Hasanov, who was arrested for “ecstasy†trafficking and use, is among the released.
The Court of Grave Crimes sentenced Hasanov to 8-year imprisonment in 2009.
