Isgandarova was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment, Guliyev to 9 years.
During the previous court session, public prosecutor Valeh Samadov demanded the court to sentence Isgandarova to 9 years of imprisonment, Guliyev to 10 years.
As a result of operative measures conducted by the Interior Ministry’s Main Department to Combat the Organized Crime, resident of Shamkir region’s Konullu village Zohra Isgandarova and her friend Murad Guliyev were detained during selling Isgandarova’s child Eljan for AZN 10 000.
The two were charged with human trafficking (article 144.1 of the Criminal Code).
