Baku. Elnur Huseynguliyev – APA-Economics. A grand cake of Europe was made in Sumgayit City of Azerbaijan. The city authorities held an event to present the cake today, APA-Economics reports.
Head of the Sumgayit’s executive power Eldar Azizov said the 12-ton cake with 50-m length was made on the occasion of the 50th jubilee of Azerbaijani President.
Azizov said the Head of State attached great attention to the development of Sumgayit City. He has visited the city for two times this year since the summer.
Azizov informed about the Sumgayit’s plans for 2012. Then the head of executive power cut the cake. Representatives of the public community tasted the Europe’s grand cake. The event was developed with a concert program.
