Delegation led by head of Georgian Intelligence Service pays official visit to Azerbaijan - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Public Affairs Center of the Ministry of National Security told APA that the guests and the administrative staff of the Ministry of National Security under the leadership of Lieutenant-General Eldar Mahmudov visited the graves of Heydar Aliyev and academician Zarifa Aliyeva in the Alley of Honors, Martyrsâ€™ Alley.
Following this, Eldar Mahmudov received head of Georgian Intelligence Service. Eldar Mahmudov said the visit will contribute to improving cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries. Minister of National Security spoke about the operation conditions and the factors influencing it, adequate measures taken by our country concerning the security problems, Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict and its consequences.
The sides exchanged views on the processes in the region, terrorism, extremism, illegal migration, measures taken to ensure the security of the regional and international energy projects, discussed prospects of close cooperation between the intelligence services of the two countries.
Gela Bezhuashvili noted that importance will be further attached to the cooperation with the intelligence agencies of Azerbaijan.
The sides also discussed issues of mutual interest.
