Judicial investigation on beating of American journalist and British Human rights defender completed

The court was led by Judge Elchin Gurbanov. The court adopted decision on termination of court case. But the state accuser said he wasnâ€™t ready for the speech and wanted time from the court. The process was postponed till December 21. The prosecutor will make a speech that day.

Of note, from June 15 to 16 at 00:20 A.M., U.S. citizen Amanda Eriksson and British citizen Sylvia Davis were attacked and beaten on Vidadi Street of Bakuâ€™s Yasamal District. The same day in connection with the occurrence it was prosecuted under Article 221.2.1 of the Criminal Code, Affected by crime persons were interrogated, the perpetratorsâ€™ identikit was designed and forensic-medical examination was carried out. It was determined that the crime was committed Adil Tagizadeh, Roman Hasanov, Vusal Gurbanov and Nazim Huseynov and they were arrested.
