Three Azerbaijanis detained over kidnapping in Bashkortostan

APA reports that the members of the organized gang kidnapped a businessman in Bashkortostan and demanded 4 million rubles. The criminals tortured the kidnapped person and threatened to kill his child if he refuses to pay. After that the businessman agreed to give $40 000. The Federal Security Service of Russia carried out operation and detained all three Azerbaijanis. Najafov Valeh Azizaga, 41, Abdullayev Rahman Vagif, 42, Bayramov Valeh Vagif, 39, faced charges of swindling, illegal detention and threatening to kill. The relevant bodies are investigating whether the detainees financed the terrorist groups in the North Caucasus.
