A total lunar eclipse will take place Saturday at 18.31 by Baku time, director of the Tusi’s Astrophysical Observatory of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in Shamakhy Eyyub Guliyev said. A total lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth passes between the sun and the moon, throwing the moon into shadow.
Guliyev said lunar eclipse occurred for two-three times a year. “This is very interesting act of nature. Total lunar eclipse will be clearly observed in Azerbaijanâ€. The scientist said lunar eclipse didn’t affect health and mood of the people.
