It happened in “Galmaz†gas holder owned by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) in Elet. Ramil Shamsaddinov, 34, and Senan Seferli, 22, were hospitalized with injuries.
Spokesman for the SOCAR Nizameddin Guliyev told APA that no blast occurred in the gas holder. He said the abovementioned persons were cleaning out the pipe, when the waste gas made pressure inside the pipe. As a result of it, they were injured. They were given medical aid at the hospital and discharged.
