Fatal traffic accident kills six, injures two in Aghstafa region of Azerbaijan â€“ <font color=red>UPDATED </font>

Aghstafa Region Police Department told APAâ€™s Western Bureau that 6 people died and two were injured as a result of the accident.

The incident was recorded on the 450th km of Baku-Gazakh highway. VAZ 21011 driven by resident of Girili village of Aghstafa region, Khalig Aslanov, 44, collided with Mercedes-Benz TIR driven by resident of Bashoba village of Hopa city of Turkey, Yazici Yakup Zulkif.

6 members of one family, who were in VAZ 21011 - Khalig Aslanov, Emin Aslanov, born in 2004, Matanat Aslanova, born in 2000, Teymur Aslanov, born in 2009, Khalig Aslanov, born in 1981, Elza Aslanova, born in 1988, Gulzar Aslanova, born in 1928 died at the site. The other passengers â€“ Khatira Aslanova, born in 1981, and Aynura Aslanova, born 1986 were hospitalized. Khatira Aslanovaâ€™s both legs and hand were broken. Aynur Aslanova was placed to resuscitation department.

The truckâ€™s driver escaped from the site.

The criminal case has been launched into the fact, the investigation is underway.
