It would be better for many people to meet their families and get liberty on the eve of holidaysâ€, Ombudsperson Elmira Suleymanova told journalists, APA reports. Suleymanova said the pardoned prisoners would be corrected as well as it would bring calmness to the society and families.
Ombudsperson said 339 prisoners were pardoned during commissioner’s activity: “It is a great number. We addressed once again concerning the pardon. The signing of pardon decree is within the president’s authorityâ€.
