The Interior Ministry’s Department to Combat Organized Crimes received operative information on November28 about holding hostage of Mehman Ramiz Vahabzadeh and Samid Rasim Mikayilov because of debt in the office belonging to Dayanat Akbar ismayilov situated in Nasimi district. They were freed from hostage as a result of operational measures. The preliminary investigation revealed that on November 20 Dayanat Ismayilov invited Mehman Vahabzadeh and Samid Mikayilov to his office in order to solve disputes over USD 1.5 mln debt and then didn’t allow to leave the office. Ismayilov said he would hold them hostage until they satisfy their debts and make their property over his name.
During the investigations it was revealed that Vahabzadeh and Mikayilov were AZN 3 mln in debt to separate persons. The operative measures are being continued.
