The incident was recorded in Sumgayit city 18th estate, in front of the building â„–36. Ilyas Vahabov was knifed in front of block. He died at the site. The reason and the committer of the incident are unknown.
The operational investigative group consisting of the employees of Sumgayit City Police Office and City Prosecutor’s Office was established on the incident. The measures on detainment of committer are being continued.
The law-enforcement bodies told APA that killed Vahabov is an owner of one of the currency exchange offices functioning in Binagadi district of Baku. A lot of money was stolen from him.
