Baku Prosecutorâ€™s Office and Main Police Office issue statement on murder of pro-rector of Tefekkur University

Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh â€“ APA. Baku Prosecutorâ€™s Office and Main Police Office issued a joint statement on the murder of pro-rector of Tefekkur University Tariyel Ahmadov. Press service of the Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office told APA that pro-rector of Tefekkur University Ahmadov Tariyel Ibrahim, 69, was found dead with injuries of cranial bones in Sharifzadeh street, 8, Yasamal district.

The officers of Baku Prosecutorâ€™s Office, Yasamal District Prosecutorâ€™s Office, Baku Main Police Office and Yasamal District Police Office, forensic experts examined the site and the body, took the material evidence from the site and took urgent measures.

Criminal case has been launched on the fact on article 120.1 of the Criminal Code, Baku Prosecutorâ€™s Office and Baku Main Police Office has set up an investigation group.

The city prosecutorâ€™s office continues taking necessary measures.
