Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Eynulla Fatullayev kept in Baku Detention Facility went on hunger-strike on October 19, his lawyer Elchin Sadigov told APA.
To him, today, from 09.00 a.m., Fatullayev started hunger-strike demanding the execution of European Court of Human Rights’ decision. The lawyer also added that Fatullayev would continue the action until his release.
Note that, some days ago, European Court of Human Rights released final decision on Eynulla Fatullayev’s appeal against Azerbaijan. The decision says that the state shall secure the applicant’s immediate release and pay EUR 28,000 in respect of pecuniary damage.
