Two suspected of knifing Azerbaijani peopleâ€™s artist Faig Aghayev detained

The ministryâ€™s press service told APA that two suspected of knifing Faig Aghayev had been detained.

Baku residents Ramin Bayramov, Azer Musayev and Azerbaijani peopleâ€™s artist Faig Aghayev were knifed in front of the house in A.Topchubashov street in Nasimi district at 06.00 on September 27. They were admitted to the Clinic Medical Center.

Nasimi district police detained ex-prisoners Rufat Malikov and Seymur Mammadov. The fact is being investigated.

A woman called Natavan Sharifova is also among the participants of the incident. Sharifova was called to the police office to give testimony last night. As Sharifova was not guilty she was released.

The incident was recorded in Nasimi district in the place called â€œKubinkaâ€. While driving his Audi peopleâ€™s artist Faig Aghayev quarreled with the driver and passengers of VAZ-2107. As a result of the quarrel, Faig Aghayev and two men were knifed. The perpetrators escaped. They were three.

Nasimi district police office has launched criminal case on the fact on articles 126.2.1 (deliberate infliction of serious bodily harm to two or more persons by a group of persons, organized criminal gang) and 126.2.4 (with the intention of hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.

Clinic Medical Center told APA that Faig Aghayev, his bodyguards Ramin Bayramov and Azer Musayev had been operated. Faig Aghayev received six knife wounds, four in back, one in hip, one in belly.
