The roof collapsed in an unsettled building in Icheri Sheher (Old City) of Baku. The incident took place in a two-storey unsettled building at 2nd Kichik Gala Street. The collapsed roof walled up entrances of several apartments leaving 21 people, including children and old people, inside the apartments. No casualties were reported.

Workers of the Housing Department and Old City Historical Architecture Reserve arrived at site to clean the walled up entrances and to take out the people.
All people were already taken out from the walled up apartments.

Spokesman for the Reserve Office Rahib Azeri told APA that rescue operations are continued. He said there was no danger for the residents and the apartment, which roof was collapsed as a result of heavy rains on Sunday, was not settled.
