Sentence passed on Azerbaijani and Nigerian citizens causing damage to AzAL

Sentence has been passed over accused people at the court presided over by Judge Mayil Bayramov. According to sentence, Bello Ashmu Yagubun, Bologun Somson Olavafemi and Fadayebi olugbengi Mosses were sentenced to 8 years in prison, Azerbaijani citizens â€“ Anar Musayev to 10 years, Parviz Taghiyev to 1 year 9 months, Oleg Sikachervski to 1 year.

According to indictment, mentioned persons, members of organized criminal group carried to different punishments by order of the Court of Grave Crimes - Azerbaijani citizens â€“ Shamsaddin Abdurrahmanov, Vagif Mirzazadeh, Tahir Amirguliyev, Elyar Gojazadeh, Nazim Hasanov, Ahliman Mammadov, Murad Mahmoudov, Ata Abdullayev, Saida Mammadova and Nigerian citizen Mutiu Olovu Olanlevaju illegally entered into the computer center of Azerbaijan Air Lines via Internet and illegally used credit cards of US citizens and other foreigners to purchase air tickets via Internet and sold these tickets at low prices to other persons. Consequently, the company incurred 100 000 AZN losses.

They faced charges under articles 271.2.1 and 271.2.3 (illegal access to the computer information on preliminary arrangement by group of persons with causing damage in the large amount) and 177.3.1. (theft that is secret plunders of another persons property by organized group with causing damage in large size) and 177.3.2 (theft with causing damage in large size)of the Penal Code of Azerbaijan.

Remind that, punished members of the group Vagif Mirzazadeh, Mutiu Olovu, Elyar Gojazadeh and Ahliman Mammadov have appealed from a judgment. The complaint is heard at the Baku Appeal Court.
