Azerbaijan conducts Eternity 2010 computer-based command and staff exercise

A computer-based command and staff exercise, Eternity 2010 with participation of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian military servicemen was started on Monday at the Simulation Center of the Azerbaijan Armed Forcesâ€™ Military Academy, press service of the Azerbaijanâ€™s Defense Ministry told APA.

Chief of the Foreign Defense Cooperation Department of the Defense Ministry, Major-General Ramiz Najafov welcomed the guests on behalf of Defense Minister Safar Abiyev and said this exercise has been rotated between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia for more than 10 years.

National anthems of the three countries were played before the opening of the command and staff exercise.

Eternity 2010 will last from September 20 to 23.
12 representatives from Turkey, 12 from Georgia and 20 from Azerbaijan are participating at the exercise.
