Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. The cases of murders and attempted murders reduced in Azerbaijan in comparison with the previous years, First Deputy Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Rustam Usubov told journalists, APA reports. He said there were 170-180 such cases a year: â€œMost of such cases are disclosed and about 11-12 cases remain undisclosed. During the period of Popular Front, there were 500-600 such crimes and most of them remained undisclosedâ€.

Usubov said a criminal case concerning the terrorist attack at the Oil Academy was also disclosed despite its graveness. He said organizer of the terrorist attack Mardun Gumashyan was declared wanted via Interpol.
