â€œJournalistâ€ blackmailing doctors arrested in Baku

According to APA citing to official site of General Prosecutor’s Office, the information about blackmailing Head physician of 1st Skin and venereal dispensary Rashad Ismayilov by the head of department of Azad Azerbaijan newspaper Vasif Pashayev was investigated.

According to information, Vasif Pashayev came to Rashad Ismayilovâ€™s office and introduced himself as the head of department of â€œAzerbaijanâ€ newspaper. He blackmailed the head physician in violation of discipline and required AZN 1200.
After Vasif Pashayev left the office, head physician called Azerbaijan newspaper and he was informaed that Vasif Pashayev was not â€œjournalistâ€ of the same newspaper.

Besides, he blackmailed the head of home of mental-nervous, disabled and elderly Adile Aliyeva in violation of discipline and required AZN 500.

The investigation is underway.
