Ombudsperson’s staff members investigate case of detainees during action in Baku

Baku – APA. Staff members of the Office of Human Rights Commissioner are investigating the report received by the Office’s hotline about the persons detained during the protest action held by Azadlig bloc outside the Baku Executive Power’s building. They visited 8th police unit in Baku and didn’t find detainees there, press service of the Office of Human Rights Commissioner told APA. Police told the investigators that 20 of 30 detainees were released and materials about 10 others were sent to the court of Sabayil district of Baku.
