Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan published statistics of its activity during first quarter of 2010, APA reports quoting the ministry’s official website. Ten explosions took place within the first three months of current year, which injured 18 people. The ministry said 876 fire incidents were reported last three months. 16 people died and 34 injured during the fire accidents. 8 were rescued.
As a result of rescue operations conducted by the Ministry of Emergency Situations 1800 people were evacuated and 148 people were rescued. 14 people died during the accidents and disasters.
