The accident happened in 418 km on Baku-Gazakh highway which heads to Georgia. A passenger bus moving towards the Red Bridge collided with a minibus which headed to Baku. 9 people were killed and 12 injured during the accident. Three of killed passengers were the citizens of the Republic of Turkey. The injured people are Turkish citizens Zohra Aslan Yardimchi, 35, Burat Yasar Yardimchi, 11, Georgian citizens – Esmira Gurbanova, 33, Maharram Osmanov, 12, Nadir Osmanov, 44, residents of Gazakh region of Azerbaijan – Fariz Gojayev, 32, Oksana aliyeva, 27, Farid Gojayev, 4, Goshgar Mehmanov, 44, Gafur Nasimov, 48 and residents of Ganja city of Azerbaijan Rzagulu Mammadov, 46 and Masma Aliyeva, 48. They were hospitalized.
Doctors told APA five were seriously injured. The Turkish citizens killed during the accident were Zohra Yardimchi’s family members.
The fact is under the investigation.
