The incident took place in Chinarli settlement of the region. Previously convicted Elmdar Nasirov, 46 demanded extorted 10 AZN from the territorial official of the executive power Hafiz Mammadov, 50 threatening him with an automatic gun. Nasirov escaped from the site. He was detained later as a result of operation searches by police. His automatic gun AK-74 and 98 bullets were confiscated.
Police launched criminal investigation.
