Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. “There is no question or doubt on the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. The relations with Azerbaijan are one of the priorities of Russian foreign policy. This policy does not depend on any points, especially on criminal incidents,” Russian president's special envoy for international cultural cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoi told journalists in Baku, APA reports.
Commenting on what happened in Western Biryulevo, Moscow, and Orkhan Zeynalov’s arrest, Shvydkoi said a lot of Azerbaijanis live in Russia, and a lot of Russians live in Azerbaijan.
“We depend on each other. Peace among nations is important for us. The relations between our countries are sustainable and stable. Some incidents may happen, but they are not serious,” he said.
Mikhail Shvydkoi said anti-Azerbaijani attitude in Russia and anti-Russian attitude in Azerbaijan should be avoided.
