He said that Azerbaijan's energy resources are important for Europe and other countries: “The final investment decision on Shah Deniz project, made last year, paved the way for significant progress on the project of the Southern Corridor”.
Morningstar noted that the United States would continue its work with Azerbaijan and other partner countries to go forward with the Shah Deniz project: “Obama administration supported the issue on exporting needed liquefied natural gas to Europe. This won’t have a negative impact on the export of Azerbaijani gas to Europe”.
