Malaysian Prime Minister: "We defend the position of Azerbaijan everywhere, in particular, on the issue of territorial integrity"

"This is my first visit to Azerbaijan. From the first minutes after getting off the plane I was very impressed. I admired not only the development, but also its quality. Your views on the future made â€‹â€‹an impression on me. Naturally, after returning to my country, I will advise compatriots to visit Azerbaijan ", - said the Prime Minister.

"We are a country that stands for truth and justice. Therefore, we defend the position of Azerbaijan everywhere, in particular on the issue of territorial integrity. We will continue to demonstrate a strong stand. Truth and justice are on your side, and we will always be there for you. At the same time, I thank Azerbaijan for supporting our country on non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council, "- said Mohammad Najib Tun Abdul Razak.

"I can say that the energy, oil and gas sector will be in the spotlight. As you know, Malaysia, especially “Petronas”, have extensive experience in this area. I think that this company can actively cooperate with Azerbaijan in the oil and gas sector. At the same time we have a lot of experience not only in the oil and gas sector, but also on the issue of rehabilitation of oil and gas blocks that have already been decommissioned. On the other hand, I would like to note that the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe is an issue of particular strategic importance. From this point of view, Azerbaijan has an important strategic position. I can assure you that Malaysia will be a reliable partner for Azerbaijan. I mean all areas and I am confident that we will do everything possible to leave a valuable legacy to future generations , "said the Prime Minister.

"I am confident that the outcome of this visit will be fine. Mr. President noted that today a business forum will be held, business people and entrepreneurs will exchange views among themselves. Malaysian companies have extensive experience, particularly in the implementation of infrastructure projects. We have a company with extensive experience in the construction industry, the processing industry, the production of electronic equipment”

Mohammad Najib Tun Abdul Razak has expressed confidence that the issues discussed in a short time after this visit will give practical results: "I have invited His Excellency Ilham Aliyev to visit my country. We will try to demonstrate our achievements to the President during this visit. I have a lot of expectations from this visit.
