APA reports quoting the ministry’s website that the minister thoroughly informed the guest about the activities carried out in the field of management of emergency situations and the activity of the structures under the ministry.
The minister also noted the importance of expanding cooperation between the relevant structures to prevent natural and man-made disasters in both countries and jointly eliminate their consequences.
Kemaleddin Heydarov offered condolences on numerous casualties as a result of the powerful earthquake near Baluchistan province. He also offered to carry out search and rescue operations in the quake-hit region and provide assistance.
In his turn, the ambassador highly appreciated the proposal of the ministry. He stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries.
Following this, they exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
