Baku. Anakhanum Idoyatova – APA. Israel has appointed new ambassadors to several countries, APA reports citing the newspaper Haaretz. Dan Stav has been nominated as new Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan. If the nomination is confirmed, Dan Stav will replace Rafael Harpaz.
The Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan told APA that Rafael Harpaz will continue working in Azerbaijan until the late summer of next year. The new candidate has been announced quite earlier as the process of Israeli ambassadors’ appointment takes long.
Israel has already appointed new ambassadors to Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Slovakia, and Jordan.
