Baku. Rufat Ahmadzadeh – APA. An Iranian delegation led by Khorasan Razavi province governor general, Ali Reza Rashidian has arrived in Azerbaijan.
The visit aims to establish relations between the regions of Iran and Azerbaijan, develop economic and cultural ties and expand relations in tourism sector.
Members of the delegation met with Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov. Bilateral relations, exchange of experience and a twinning programme between Mashhad and Baku were discussed during the meeting.
The delegation will today meet with Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev and Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev.
Tomorrow the guests will meet with Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov and then will visit Gabala region to get acquainted with tourism facilities there.
The visit will last until September 12.
