Azerbaijani President receives delegation of Pakistani Senate

Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received the delegation of members of Pakistan’s Senate and National Assembly led by deputy chairman of the Senate Sabir Ali Baloch.

APA reports that on the behalf of the delegation Sabir Ali Baloch congratulated the Head of State on his confident victory in the presidential elections.

Noting that they witnessed the free, democratic and transparent elections in our country, the guest appreciated the current stability and peace in Azerbaijan. Sabir Ali Baloch stressed once more that Pakistan supports Azerbaijan’s fair position in the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

The Head of State expressed his satisfaction with the successful development of friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Stressing that Pakistan is one of the close allies of Azerbaijan, the Head of State expressed his confidence that the friendly and fraternal relations between our countries will further develop. President Ilham Aliyev noted that the two countries should support each other at the international organizations.
