Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker: "We donâ€™t need the OSCE ODIHR"

He said that Azerbaijan may also not invite this organization to the elections in the future: “We don’t need the OSCE ODIHR”. Asadov said that the presidential elections are over and the people expressed their position: “It was the triumph of the Azerbaijani people.”

The Speaker also said that the European Parliament did not want to send a delegation to Azerbaijan: “Then, decided to send a delegation and those parliamentarians expressed their resolute position. However, the European Parliament released the opinion of external forces ignoring the opinion of its members. Their goal is to keep Azerbaijan under the influence and want to use their tools in this regard.”

Asadov said that international observers have a different opinion for the first time in this election. Touching on the Euronest PA, the Speaker noted that Azerbaijan joined this organization considering it as a coordinating organization between the Eastern and European countries and it hosted the Euronest's first meeting in a foreign country: “Unfortunately, the Euronest failed to fulfill its objectives.”
