Azerbaijani Foreign Minister addresses Caspian Forum in New-York

Anakhanum Hidayatova – APA. “This year Azerbaijan celebrated 21 year of Independence, these strategically important projects give Azerbaijan certainty not only in Independence and sovereignty as well as allowing us to be one of the fastiest growing economies in the world,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at the Caspian Forum organized by the Caspian Strategy Institute (HASEN) in New-York.

“We appreciate the role of United States in Baku – Ceyhan – Tbilisi project without directly support and standing behind this we would have lot of difficulties in this region. That kind of projects will create productivity for development of the region. We have the problems in the region, but I believe if we move smoothly this path we will strength our argument that peace, security and sustainability are much more important than some different nationalistic ambitions,” said Elmar Mammadyarov.
