Azerbaijani Ambassador meets with Tourism Minister of Argentina

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Argentina Mammad Ahmadzadeh met with Tourism Minister of Argentina Carlos Enrique Meyer.

The sides discussed the recent development of relations in tourism area between the two countries, Mr. Meyer’s visit to Azerbaijan in 2012, meetings between the tourism ministers of the two countries within the framework of international events and participation of Argentina National Institute of Tourism Promotion in Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair in 2013, press service of Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.

Ambassador Ahmadzadeh informed the minister about the state policy on tourism industry and infrastructure in Azerbaijan, steps taken to attract foreign tourists to our country and the international events held in Azerbaijan in this regard.

At the meeting, they also exchanged views on agreement on relevant legal and regulatory framework for development of tourism cooperation between Azerbaijan and Argentina, continuation of relations at the institutional level and the issues regarding the organization of events to increase mutual tourist flows.
