Azerbaijan to allocate AZN 205.4 million for international activity and membership fees to international organizations

Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. In 2014, the Azerbaijani Government will allocate AZN 205.4 mln for international activity and membership fees to international organizations, it was envisaged in the state budget for 2014, APA reports.

AZN 58.4 million are expected to be allocated with the view of maintaining the new diplomatic services and consulates and improving their material and technical provision.

Next year Azerbaijan is expected to allocate AZN 20 million for paying membership fees to international financial-credit and socio-political organizations (Asian Development Bank, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, ECOBANK, UN Secretariat, World Health Organization, UN World Food Programme, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and its organizations, CIS, Council of Europe and its organizations, OSCE, OSCE PA, GUAM Secretariat, General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, Framework Convention (Tehran Convention) for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea, International Telecommunication Union) and AZN 127 million to ensure the other international activity of Azerbaijan.

AZN 60 million will be allocated for funding international and republic events to be organized in 2014.
