Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Minister receives French delegation

Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today received the delegation led by Nathalie Goulet, member of the French Senate and head of the Senate’s observation mission, the Foreign Ministry told APA,

French Senator Nathalie Goulet said that they observed the Azerbaijani presidential elections and did not face any problems and were satisfied with the whole process.

Noting the importance of the activity of foreign countries’ missions, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said that Azerbaijan is always ready to cooperate in this direction.

The sides expressed satisfaction with successful development of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France and exchanged views on the prospects of developing cooperation in various spheres and joint projects.

Touching on Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the UN Security Council, Mammadyarov noted that the initiatives and proposals put forward by our country to expand cooperation between the UN and OIC and other related issues are expected to be discussed at the Security Council.
