The minister said that this year Azerbaijan intensely discussed with the EU the issues of integration.
Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle said in his speech that the six members of the Eastern Partnership program are important for the EU.
“We support the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of these countries”, he said.
Füle noted that the developments in the region will be discussed at the meeting.
“This meeting will enable us to better understand the EU and determine what we can do together for peace and stability”, Füle added.
The EU Commissioner also added that the meeting will strengthen the sovereignty and trust among the parties.
