High-level organization of the 7th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Azerbaijan is an obvious indicator of this development,” said Jose de Venecia, Founding Chairman and Co-Chairman of the ICAPP Standing Committee addressing the 7th Assembly’s meeting of the ICAPP. According to him, the organization of the event in Baku shows the successful development of Azerbaijan, where multi-party system exists: “Your country has made significant progress during the 20 years of the independence.”
The poverty level has dropped to 7% in Azerbaijan, important steps have been taken towards improvement of social welfare of people with millions of jobs created. We think that poverty is the only enemy of every nation. Therefore, every nation should do its best to improve its country and solve the social problems. As a result of this, joint development and achievements can be gained in Asia,” he said.
Jose de Venecia talked about Nagorno Karabakh conflict. He said they do not want Nagorno Karabakh conflict, or any other conflict.
“These conflicts should be solved. Joint talks should be held and political truce achieved,” he said.
