Baku. Parvin Abbasov – APA. The 18th meeting of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) has started in Baku.
APA reports that along with local and foreign guests, head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev and deputy chairman of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov are also attending the event.
Delivering a keynote speech at the meeting, Ali Ahmadov wished successes to the activity of the meeting. Several issues on the ICAPP activity, including the condition of preparatory works for the 7th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties, to be held in Baku on November 22-23, as well as other duties of the organization will be discussed at the Standing Committee’s meeting.
Leader of the “Heritage” Party of Armenia Raffi Hovannisian is also attending the meeting.
ICAPP includes more than 300 political parties in Asia and Oceania.
